Mother's Day Special
James and I conspired for a great Mother's Day surprise, with him secretly flying in from Chicago last night. Mom's reaction is the best.

I AM GOD. After weeks of failure, tear-inducing trial and error and borderline psychosis, I have finally wrestled my new business website into submission and rewritten the code for my portfolio galleries.
The developer who put the extension together in the first place insisted it couldn't be done. I refused to back down, went into mad scientist mode and will now proceed to spit in his face. IT'S WORKING. Bwahahahaha!!! Never have I been so proud of my coding skills! Where can I buy one of those giant foam hands so I can spend the rest of the week patting myself on the back?
Blizzard 2016
Me (last night): "Can everyone stop acting like there's actually a blizzard coming? It's probably just going to rain. At most there'll be a light dusting of snow that turns to slush by morning. They ALWAYS predict blizzards and nothing ever happens. I'll believe it when I see it."
